I go crazy if there is no plan for a day. I guess that is how Scooby is as well…and that is what happened on Saturday- “No plan” and a “crazy mom”. (Except I did get a chance to swim early in the morning and not babysit Scooby and Uvi-tuvi while they play in the pool.) Have decided to plan out the weekend on Thursday and just follow the plan. I do need to keep up my resolve.
But Sunday was another story. It was Walter-Zoo-sunny day. Interestingly the zoo has a circus as well. And a very well done circus at that. The circus was not acts alone but a story enacted through various acts. Apart from the circus the zoo also has an act by four tigers. As soon as we reached the zoo it was time for the tiger act followed by the circus. As soon as the circus was over and we took a few steps towards the animal enclosures our lady declared ”i am bored”. !!!!! .Lady give me a break after driving for an hour and watching fabulous acts you can’t be bored the next instant. Mom/Dada are not genies to keep you entertained every moment.
But soon after the above statement our lady got engrossed in feeding the goats, zebras, ostrich, etc. So was the effort worth it!!!!?????
The size of the zoo is ideal for little children and has a good mix of petting animals and exotic animals. Some of the parrots and monkeys have not kept in enclosures but out in the open. An ideal place for a pre-schooler.
